Rev. Jay loves ministry because it allows him to use all of his experience as a teacher, speaker and counselor in one vocation. Education was his first interest as he taught children and teens and was the Centers for Spiritual Living regional teen camp director for ten years. Counseling was his next call as he became a marriage and family counselor. For over ten years, he has been a Religious Science Practitioner integrating spiritual principles and prayer in his counseling. Most recently he has become a much sought after speaker in many of our affiliated churches. His love of life and open heart shines through his talks as he shares his experiences and wisdom through storytelling, metaphors and practical tools. He believes that sacred service is a spiritual practice and brings everyone deeper in their relationship with God.

He is married to Michelle Lang and has two sons, Brendan and Corey, as well as two granddaughters

Since coming to Whole Life 4 years ago, I have grown in so many ways. This community has provided, and continues to provide a welcoming and accepting environment for my spiritual awakening. I am home.

After a lifetime of 'dabbling' with many spiritual paths, I found the most practical AND inspirational way to walk with the Divine at Whole Life Center for Spiritual Living. The WLC classes and community help me feel excited and confident about continuing to court a personal relationship with Spirit.
